Great belt, it’s definitely unique

Very comfortable.

Features buckle magnet!

I would order the larger as it's tight once closed.

Often times with regular belts I find them I’ll fitting as I am usually between holes. With the nylon belt I can get the exact fit for maximum comfort. But with the regular nylon belt the buckle would sometimes come open under my duty belt. But the closure on this one stays closed no matter what.

Too wide will not fit thru my belt loops

Got it.

Read a lot of reviews regarding this belt. Was very iffy since a lot of negatives claim it's not a gun belt, but glad I took a chance because it most certainly is. It's ridged enough to hold holsters just fine. My old gun belt was a rigger's belt with reinforced polymer strip in-between double nylon. That belt doesn't flex at all and is incredibly heavy. This belt is nicer in every way. It's ridged where it needs to be and not where it needs to be. It's significantly lighter and I'm able to get far better tightness with the cobra buckle than the cast iron rigger's belt buckle.
This belt is super comfortable and holds up holsters just fine. The only issue, and it's not really an issue, but instead a different way of looping the belt is you'll have to remove male side of the belt buckle to quickly remove the belt from your belt loops since the cobra belt buckle is larger than 1.5 inches. All this means if you adjust the way you remove the belt it takes a minimal amount of time to do so. The benefits of the cobra belt buckle outweigh the slight inconvenience and different way you unloop it from your pants. If you want you can keep the male fastener attached and rotate the buckle through belt loops but it takes a bit of time depending how many belt loops you have.
Not sure if I'll use my rigger's belt any longer. This is just too comfortable and lightweight . Sure, I can loop it faster and unloop it faster, but that's not something I need.

My duties and casual dress depended on this belt for nearly 2 years, and it served me well. In the photos, you'll see that this belt is stiff, which was a prerequisite of mine. It held up a GLOCK 19 , knife, cuffs and an additional loaded magazine all while not crumbling over on itself. While not rated for rappelling, I have rappelled on this belt (with a backup system in place), and although uncomfortable, it worked. I don't recommend or condone rappelling on a belt not rated for it, I'm just saying it worked for me in testing. I did recently retire mine (though will keep it as a spare) in favor of an SOE EDC belt. If you catch SOE on a sale, the price is about the same, and in my opinion, a better investment due to higher quality and a lifetime warranty.
Pros: Super solid and rigid, but still comfortable. Mine is the 1.5" model which fits any pants and works with all my standard belt gear. The Cobra buckle is solid, and never failed, even with my weight hanging on it (200+ lbs). For the money, it was great for about two years, and is still kicking, so the price point is very attractive.
Cons: Mine did begin to fray regularly after about 4 months of daily wear. It seemed like every week there was a new black thread hanging off that I would pull or cut off. Also, I wished the the female velcro area were longer to allow for a more solid securing tail end of the belt when carrying a pistol inside the waistband.
In short, this belt gave me two years of great service, and never failed any task it was given. Duty and casual wear, this belt works, is rigid and comfortable. Well deserved five stars.

I have a bad relationship with belts. They don't hold my pants up. Let alone with anything of weight in my pockets or hanging on my belt (this is supposed to hold a gun up, if I understand correctly. And, the relationship gets worse with time, as the belt stretches, or the holes rip, or I quit drinking for a few days and get skinny. It's a mess. This belt is great, once you dial it in. Three best features:
1. It is stiff. It ain't gonna stretch, it ain't gonna slip, and I imagine you could hang some stuff off of it if you needed to, and if someone is gonna pick me up in a helicopter with a rope and there's no harness, this is the belt I want to be wearing (DO NOT ATTEMPT. I HAVE NEVER DONE THIS. IT MAY NOT BE SAFE. I WOULD ALSO WRAP MY HANDS AROUND THE VELCRO IN THIS SITUATION.) It holds my GD pants up. Mostly. Only life-threatening tightness will do that, but this is by far the best hold your pants up (and whatever else you might hang on it) belt I've ever had.
2. The buckle (in addition to being sturdy AF) is SOOO satisfying to click together. SNAP. Whoever is waiting outside the bathroom, whenever we can be in bathroom lines again, will know when you're done. They might even be a little nervous, it is that cool of a sound. It feels like it ain't going to undo. It wiggles, so you know it can flex and "give" a little. It is a badass buckle.
3. Don't hate on Velcro. The velcro strip is really the understated backbone of this belt, as if it needed one. But that give is tons of traction not to slip or stretch, some extra stiffness (helicopter anyone?), and a little more thickness if you have a thing to put on your belt that needs to stay real put. Not to mention infinite sizing refinement ability. If you put your mind to it, you can make this thing fit perfectly, and never change. If you never change, it will fit you forever. If you do, you can change it.
They say it doesn't fit through belt loops, but those must be dress pants? They fit through my jeans and shorts loops (Levi's, FWIW) with a little help sometimes. It is not traumatic or anything, but it is another measure of this belt ain't going anywhere once it is in your pants. If you took your pants off, and left the belt in them, it is like stepping into open pants, if that makes sense. Imagine reaching for your pants in the night to see "What's that noise, honey?". Your pants are a little more ready for you. Find out what that noise is.
You gotta get the size right - I had to try two at the same time, but two different companies (I think) made it easy to return and get the right fit. I am a 30 waist, got the small, and it has plenty of Velcro purchase, but plenty of room to lose weight, if I start exercising or quit drinking or something. The Medium was cinched tight, and still didn't hold my pants up, which is why I bought the belt. So I easily returned it. The gray one is slick.

This is a high quality product from VTAC, as is most of their gear. The belt is thick, sturdy, well stitched and fits well. It has adjustable velcro on one side to size appropriately. This belt can easily handle holsters, mag pouches, cuff pouches, etc. The COBRA® buckle is from AustriAlpin, one of the industry leaders of fasteners for climbing, mountaineering and tactical training. VTAC (Viking Tactics) is a tactical training company that is run by former special forces operator Kyle Lamb, a retired Army Sgt. Major. He knows his stuff, and this belt was designed for real world use and he put his name on it. If you purchase this to go with a VTAC Battle Belt, buy the same size.

Sizing is indeed odd. I wear a 30-32 pant size, around there. pretty thin guy. I measured myself many times in different gear, with my pistol and a few layers. ordered a Large and it ended up being fine for me. I'd like a bit more velcro on the hook side though. Plenty of velcro on the loop side however, it actually extends further than the hook part can reach. Color is very nice, a good Coyote Brown. Cobra buckle came with a blemish already on it however. The belt is doubled up, so it's pretty thick and very sturdy for carry. Stitching looks very well done and I feel it can actually hold up as a Riggers Belt. Worst thing I see so far is in terms of long term durability, there is no way to replace the Cobra buckle if it fails and I've seen Cobra buckles fail or start to lock up so I'm hoping this lasts. My last Riggers belt lasted me almost a decade of daily use and multiple deployments, Hopefully this can reach even half that and I'd be happy. Overall, I'm initially very happy with my purchase. Just remember the sizing issue and you'll be fine. with the large I ordered, it says it's for up to 40", now that's a hard limit, there isn't any room over their max size listed. I set the belt up with the velcro, entirely in contract with each other but at the largest setting the belt could go without the velcro being half on and it measured to exactly 40".

I bought this VTAC belt a little over 4 years ago when I was on a TDY to Arizona. I have worn it every day since. It has held up 100% and I'm still wearing it today. Being a mechanic in the military working with a combat rescue unit we carry a lot of gear on our belts especially when deployed. I have used this belt to ops check the rescue hoist on the H60 helicopter and believe me it has no problem holding my entire body up by the d ring. I do wish the belt was a little more adjustable for sizes going down, I have lost a bit of weight (especially from when the photo was taken) and I need to buy a smaller size belt now but 4 years on 1 belt I got my money's worth. I have tried other "riggers" belts and none of them hold up as good as the VTAC. Buy this belt you won't be disappointed.

I have gone through several tactical belts and they all had problems. This belt has NO problems. I bought this belt on Sept. 4th and it's now Oct. 26. I've been carrying a 1911 for over 35 yrs and I use suspenders to insure my trousers don't droop from the weight. The other belts had NO stretch and the suspender clips would tear into them after a while. Also there was the constant threading of the belt through two slots, the second being a little tighter to pass through. This belt has a quick release for threading (as opposed to the quick release buckle ) and when I go to fasten the belt it simply stretches, but the stretch has a reasonable amount of resistance thus keeping the belt snug without being too tight. The suspender clips haven't done any damage at all. They simply leave an impression. This belt is made from some really tough material. I don't like a belt that's really tight and this one has the perfect amount of tension. I've since purchased two more one as a gift and the other in case I ever needed to replace this one in case they turned out to be out of stock. The size is for a 46 inch waist but the belt actually measures 53 inches to give you a "tail" to pull through the buckle. I forgot to mention one other thing, the belt buckle clicks in place securely and doesn't release on it's own like the other belts buckles did.

I have searched years for a product that would function similar to the “seat-belt” belts you can find at many Spencer’s & Hot-Topic Stores. While the buckle on the aforementioned belts is great to have for ease of access, the fandom and pop-culture designs have no place in a professional setting.
While I’m not a huge fan of tactical products in general, I can wholeheartedly endorse this belt and the other “practical-tactical” products which accompany it.
It’s a no frills, utilitarian dream. The buckle can be adjusted to the desired length within seconds; and removed to allow the belt to be pulled off with one easy motion. No more tugging, wrestling, and fighting with leather belts.
The actual mechanism is equally impressive. The two pins on either side of the release mechanism push in to provide a quick-release operation; similar to how a seat belt would function. In equal fashion, the return mechanism simply slides into place, and then locks the buckle.
The material the belt itself is a sturdy nylon webbing with a little bit of stretch to it. This makes sliding accessories through it a breeze; such as multi-tools, lights / lamps, radios / coms, etc.. This also decreases the amount of time spent getting ready in the mornings, again due to no longer fighting with traditional leather belts which grip and tug at nylon accessory sheaths which attempt to pass over it.

Unless you need a dress belt, these things are super useful.
Durable, easy to adjust on the fly and look great.
They do not wear as tactical as they look in the ad. I have several and yet to break any of them.
Really just a good all round belt.
Perfect
Have purchased for my son and best friend..everybody seems to be very happy with them.

Tried many belts over the past couple of years but never found any good ones, until I found this on amazon. Never again will I ever need to find another belt this good. Its very size adjustable, easy buckle on the quick, and has a very strong and durable Belt. At first, it gave off some weird factory smell but after washing and letting dry on the sun in less than 30, minutes, it became less and less noticeable. Used it for more than 5 months and its still held up from the day I purchased it. Highly recommend it to anybody who wants a long-lasting belt for their pants!

Received this today.
The buckle closes with a satisfying click.
The length is continuously adjustable. A few days ago I bought a tactical belt that is also continuously adjustable but which does not have the quick open/close feature.
For sheer convenience, this belt is better. The belt, once adjusted, can be closed quickly. And it will probably get more use.
Still, there is something to be said for the other belt in that since it doesn't use a quick release mechanism it has one less part that might break in a mission critical situation.

I like the belt, it stays put, does not slip, the buckle mechanism is new to me but is easy to operate. The belt webbing appears to be made of good material, the buckle sturdy and easy to use so I am happy with it, does what I wanted and I would recommend it. I use it as an outer belt but if you put it thru pant loops then you have to remove the male end of the buckle and re attach it after you have gotten through the loops. The belt material is hefty and is 1.5 inches wide so measure your loops before you buy if you want to use this belt.

I'm a service tech and go to a lot of places that i need to basically strip all metal stuff off my body and i wanted a tactical belt that i can quickly remove stuff to be scanned and it's handy for other personal reasons i'll guess you can figure out on your own.. lol..
I carry several phones, keys a flashlight and sometimes other stuff and it's never come off except one time i bumped into something and it hit the exact spot that unlatched it. Other than that, it's never come off. I do wish they had a better method of not loosening but i added a piece of industrial velcro that solved that issue.
The lock is solid and confident it'll last a long time. i use it daily for work, and it's been great.. also it's nice to not have things on it restricted by belt loops as i wear it on top of my pants belt. works great.. i can move things anywhere..
Try it and see if it works for you.. :)

Good sturdy product. Length is as stated meaning that if you have a 32" waist you should order a belt that will go to 34". The length stated is the belts maximum. Unforeseen issue: The belt buckles are too large to go through standard jeans belt loops. The adjustment buckle must be removed completely from the belt then the belt has to be threaded through the belt loops, then the buckle must be reinstalled and adjusted prior to attaching the two belt ends together. Takes a good 5 minutes to put the belt on and making sure it isn't upside down or inside out. (Seriously) I'm not sure what makes this a "tactical belt", it's cumbersome and has magnetic metal on it...but use of the word "tactical" sure seems popular with the Chinese manufactured products...and it sells to our massive Call of Duty player base. Just so you know....

Best belt I’ve bought for the money. Definitely beats spending 80 dollars for a tactical belt. This one does the same.

This belt is great! I needed a belt i could buckle easily. All you have to do is set it to your waist size and snap it in! Im going to post a 2nd review later when i have my pistol on it as well. Ill be using a glock 21 with 4 magazines. I want to see how the weight feels.
Ryan
Comfy, kind of stubborn to adjust, but it doesn’t slip or loosen. Fits 1.5” holster clips well. The clip/clasp is VERY easy to use, best part about the belt in my opinion.
Luciana
This tactical belt is light weight and the material feels heavy duty.
Well made and held up great with the Aggressor Vintage Tactical Pants by M-Tac, (on Amazon). Really a perfect fit with these pants.
Purchased the belt for a camping/hiking trip and definitely satisfied.
The quick-realease buckle made it easy to adjust and has a strong hold. (There is a small picture on the buckle on how to open it).
This belt will last for a very long time!

Very affordable. For what I paid for this its an absolutely great belt. Being a bigger guy, who likes my pants to stay where they are, it could be hard to find the right fit with notched belts and other nylons, with their slipping plastic, were awful. This belt has held up since I got it under daily use. Looks great and holds great. I adjust it maybe once a day. Where I'm in and out of a vehicle 100 times a day thats pretty great. Fits perfect and is holding up. Cant say better then that.

I didn’t go into this purchase “expecting” much. Lol. Cheap price being the reason. Worst case I would have sent it back.
I’ve had one other tactical belt I tried using for edc, and it was terribly stiff like so stiff it was uncomfortable. This belt however is the perfect blend of a daily belt and a perfect stiffness for edc. I can carry my 380 or my shield with zero problems and it does not seem to flex hardly at all.
Great cheap belt but not cheap quality. Buckle seems to be holding up perfectly fine. If it breaks or fails I’ll change my review accordingly but so far impressed!

This belt took me forever to find but totally worth it! I use it for firefighting and for paramedic shifts and it fits in my belt loops conformatbly with the “bigger” size.
I would order again, it turns head whenever I wear it and people always ask where I got it.
I would say I am actually the small size but because of the way the belt works the medium size fits me perfectly. So size isn’t the biggest deal.
ERIC
This utility belt is sturdy and has the needed pockets for the equipment I carry while on duty. I am very pleased with my purchase. This is the second belt that I bought for my assignment. The first one I returned. This one has turned out to be 100% better than the first one. It is worth the money.

The belt is great for work, but majority of the pouches I couldn't use. The handcuff pouch, flashlight pouch is great. The OC Mark 4 did not fit. I still think the belt is a great price and durable. I plan on getting different pouch accessories in the future that will better suit my work needs in corrections. Not all facilities carry the same equipment, and even though I cannot use some of them I like the belt. I clip my radio on the belt and it holds it comfortably through my shift. The handcuffs fit snug and so did my flashlight. My facility has OC issued in its own pouch and I just add it to my belt which is very easy to put on.

The belt feels super nice and well made. I thought the little attachment would be cheap, but it feels surprisingly good. This product is SO good for the price! :)

Super cool latching mechanism for a belt! It is very satisfying to open and close
karl e.
Nice belt this one came with a clip that is velcro but the belt itself doesn't just an elastic band to hold the tail of belt
roob
The belt and buckle seem to be of quality and feels good on first use. Time will tell how it maintains it feels through a rigorous day. Time will also reveal it's durability and sturdiness. I like the quick release, paint, and the decals are clean.
As always check online reviews and use descresion when buying, later...
I will do a follow up in 3 weeks.

Product arrived next day and very happy with the purchase. Value for the money. I’m usually a 34 waist and wasn’t sure about getting a small or medium. They say go 1 size up, so I got the medium 36-42 belt and it worked out just fine. So I would probably by the small size next just to have a tighter fit. Overall it’s a great product and price is worth it.

I get a lot of the military belts but they must don't hold through the day and my pants end up falling, but not this belt it holds all day long absolutely. Just snap and go.

I wasn't sure exactly what to think when I ordered it. My first thought was "what a pain to have to undo it each pant change". In saying that I am pretty picky about my belts and have worn Harley leather belts for years. But with my fluctuating weight I hove 6 different leather belts.
This belt here. I speak for this one. Not the others that look like this one. This belt right here has now become my favorite and probably last belt I buy unless it is another one.
First, the buckle. It it flawless. Extremely sturdy and not heave like it may seem. But it is top notch. Smooth action. Super easy to take on and off but not by mistake. The engraving and brand name look awesome and professional.
The belt. The belt length is right on the money. It allows me the changes I need for weight change. Underclothing during the winter etc. the rubber band allows to hold any extra you might have strongly in place and does not change the look of the belt at all. (That's for the guys that the belt they order is on the larger size of the waist) QUALITY. This nylon is the strongest and best quality I have ever owned. Clips won't snag on threads for example.
So for a lounge belt that is super comfortable or if for tactical reasons. I am very satisfied with both the belt and the price. This was just an extra last min purchase and ended up being one of my favorite buys of all.
Thank you for a quality product
Freame
I've looked at other belts like this from "tactical" manufacturers, and they are often 3-4 times the price, and are really no different. In fact, I'm convinced most of them are probably made in the same factory as this one, just with different branding.
I bought the tan version of this belt a month ago, and was so impressed with it, that I ordered a second one in black. Comfortable, easy to adjust, and when you get it adjusted, it locks in and does not slip or creep loose while you wear it. My job has me kneeling and bending and walking all day, and this belt stays tight and comfortable through 8-10 hour shifts with no problems. I carry a retail scanning tablet on my belt (a large cell-phone type device), as well as a small radio communicator, and a utility knife, and this belt holds everything well. Even with all that extra weight, it doesn't slip or loosen over the course of an active work day.
You DO have to take the adjustable buckle off to threat this belt through the loops of most pants--including bluejeans. But the webbing will "set" a fold where you wear it after a few hours, so getting it adjusted is fast and easy. Highly recommended--great value.
stephen
I like this belt more than anything else I've used, I've had it for about a month. Other belts kept breaking or wearing down too quickly.
This belt is durable, and stiff enough to hold items. Right now i have a MOLLE EDC pouch, phone case, Leatherman, and survival knife attached to it.
The buckle is good quality, it hasnt yet came open on its' own.
The V ring with Velcro strap seems a bit useless, but I do have my keyring carabiner hooked into it.
Cons:
Belt can be a bit aggravating to tighten. The good news is that once you have it where you want it, it generally stays where you put it. It does loosen a little on its' own every now and again, but so far it has been by no more than half an inch or so. I readjust about once every 2 or 3 days.
Measure your waist, buy the size that is slightly bigger than what you need. I have 36 waist, and bought 36-42 medium. I removed 2 inches from the tail end with scissors, then singed the edges with a lighter to prevent fraying. This makes it not too long, but with enough left over for tightening/loosening.
Would definitely buy again!

First, I will start off by saying I am writing this review on my accord and this is my honest impression that has not been influenced by any outside incentives. Second, if your looking for a sturdy belt, that is beyond simple and efficient to take on, take off, and adjust, do not hesitate to order this Fairwin Tactical Nylon Belt...I have no other choice but to give it 5 stars across the board and give it my highest recommendation!!! Additionally, I cannot say enough about how surprised I am regarding how comfortable the Fairwin Tactical Belt is while sitting, standing, kneeling, and bending over. I was initially concerned that the heavy duty metal buckle might cut into my stomach while sitting and/or kneeling for extended periods of time. Let me assure you that I have had several days to wear this belt and it has been perfectly comfortable. Moreover, it holds it's fitment to your waist very well. I've only had to adjust this belt the first time about 3 days ago. It has sense held strong even while taking it off of one pair of pants and looping it through another pair...keep in mind as long as you loop it through with the male end of the belt loop first, like all belts, you will not have any problem fitting this belt through any pair of pants whether it be jeans, shorts, cargo pants, khakis, or even dress slacks should you choose to wear it with your tuxedo!!! All joking aside, I am glad I went with Fairwin Tactical above all the others. For $14.99 you just can't go wrong. This is absolutely the best $14.99 I've ever spent on a belt...period.
bon a.
I got this belt because I wanted a wider belt to match the leather duty belt it replaced. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. The belt itself is the perfect width, but the buckles are much wider and won’t fit through the belt loops, even with duty pants. So, as another reviewer mentioned (and I ignored) the one buckle must be completely removed to thread the belt through the loops, and then replaced.
Still, the belt looks cool and is as wide as my leather belt, so I’ll keep it. Minor inconvenience in my book. I have time in the morning to thread it through. When it really counts and a call comes in the middle of the night, one quick clip and you’re good to go.
Looking cool is what it’s all about anyway, right?

Okay.. I love leather, especially basket weave gear, but the leather gear I wanted was too expensive for a sport shooter like myself. And to be totally honest, leather is noisy; creaking and squeeking. But it looks good and lasts.. So, I DID end up getting a decent leather shoulder rig. But couldn't justify paying the price on a Full Duty (every day) belt. Deciding to be sensible, I bought this surprisingly, VERY cool riggers belt.
First off, the belt is nice and wide (a hair under two inches -an 1" and 7/8" (or there about) the nylon is somewhat stiff so it holds everything nice and solid. No flopping about. And something I thought (in my humble opinion) was a unique and clever idea: See, the belt buckle is too wide to fit through the loops of most civilian pants -no problemo- the buckle on one side can be slipped off in a quick second; you run belt through your gear and belt loops and reattach the buckle and your good to go! so you don't have to buy a hook and loop liner or anything like that. And, this is some thick, tuff stuff! It also has a convenient, triangle, yank-velcro-strap to tighten or loosen the belt if it stretches or starts cutting into your sides throughout the day! It's a really comfortable belt! And the price for this quality? NICE! I'm going to get another one (or two) so that I won't have to change out various gear for different purposes. And, even one to just wear as a regular belt because it looks great on. I spent two days browsing for a belt that would suit my purposes.. This Rigger Belt was my choice. Obviously, to me, it was a very good choice! I bet you will not be disappointed.

Finally! A belt that fits to me, instead of a belt with loops that I have to fit. So far so good. Feels firm and sturdy and the buckle has been holding up great. There hasn’t been any sag or the belt coming loose. It’s super easy to fit. It’s also great to just have to push a button For it to come apart.
I use this belt for IWB carry also and it works great. I looked at so many belts, some significantly more expensive also and this was the best fit. I wouldn’t call it cheap, I would use the word inexpensive because it doesn’t feel cheap in the slightest.
If you’re looking for a new belt, or a CCW belt, buy this. You won’t regret it.

I can't recall how I stumbled on this belt while shopping online but when I did, I decided to take a chance. I read a few reviews of similar items and this one seemed to be the best for maybe a dollar more than others, so I got it.
The 1.5 inch belt is what you want for non Military (and I mean BDU) pants. A 1.7 inch belt MIGHT fit alot of belt loops but it will be a close fit and the 1.5 is plenty sturdy not just to hold your pants up but also for attachments. I have a heavy attachment on mine and the belt doesn't twist or sag.
The buckle is very secure. No problems there and it is really nice to be able to so easily unbuckle.
Some reviewers didn't seem to realize that neither side of the buckle is intended to go through belt loops. So that is the negative: the right side buckle part has to come off to put the belt through the loops or take it off. But, when you remove your pants, the buckle doesn't fall out of the pants, either.
The adjustment on the left hand side comes in handy.
The buckles and belts are nicely finished. No scratches, touch edges, or frays.
I ordered a second one in another color after I tried out the first one.
Once you have worn the belt a little while it is very easy to remove and replace the buckle because the belt itself will have an obvious bend where it was in the right buckle, eliminating any guesswork when trying to decide where to put the buckle next time.

I used a Blackhawk riggers belt (essentially this same item but without the cobra buckle) for 10 years before Velcro started to give out. I loved it. So when I went to look for a replacement I figured I would try this out as the absence of a quick release on the Blackhawk was a little obnoxious to deal with at times.
For a pro, the cobra buckle on this thing is amazing. I feel very secure with it. I didn’t expect to feel that way. I was a rock climber and rapeller, both for casual enjoyment and fun as well as for tactical (former police) and rescue (former SAR/EMS) situations. So I’m used to trusting my life to equipment. I was nervous about the buckle until I got it and put it through the wringer. I have every faith and confidence this would hold up both my weight and another person’s weight together. Same with all the materials this belt was with. High grade across the board. The material is similar to seat belt material. It’s NOT going to give, tear or stretch on you. And the components, like the buckle and D ring will not fail.
The bad? Remember I said it’s like seat belt material? Well, for a normal person normal application, that’s great, it’s not to rigid and it’s flexible. It’s bit going to dig into you. But for me, that’s a detractor and is why it got only 4 stars from me. I’m an open carrier. I started in las enforcement, wound up SWAT trained, post-9/11 I did govt security counter terrorism contracting work, I’m a part time tactical trainer, and I assembled a fugitive recovery task force. My training and life has been open carry, and I likewise do the same in my personal life. My off duty time I wear this belt with a level 3 retention holster and firearm on strong arm side, and two back up magazines and their pouch, and a retention off hand combatives fixed blade knife on the weak side. This belt holds up to the demand, no question. I have no concern or worry. BUT, the material is soft and gives unlike the more rigid Blackhawk belt which holds its shape. The floppy feel when buckling in or unbuckling is just not desirable, and the belt needs to be snug to ensure the weapon holster doesn’t cant under the weight of the firearm. This can be an asset too though. As it is much easier to shift the ride position when getting into a car to avoid the dreaded console-flesh-dig-in. Wear it snug, and your weapon will be where your hand is trained to expect it to be. No problem for defensive/combative/security/rescue operations. I recommend it. But for competitive shooting, times shooting, 3 gun, etc., get a different belt that is stiffer like the Blackhawk one I wore for ten years. The give in this belt could cost you a tenth of a second on the shot clock if you don’t cinch it down tight or train with it. It’s NOT a stiff gun belt. Leather belts are more rigid.
Appreciate it for what it is, and you’ll love it. As I said, I have a substantial amount of weight and gear on this belt, and I have every confidence in it. It just needs to be snug. The trade off for having a rapid release is worth it in my opinion.

A good friend of mine who served in the navy as a seabee whose profession is carpentry advised me to purchase a quick release belt with a "D ring." after searching and purchasing a different brand one I returned it (it was too small, so my mistake not the manufacturer's) I then purchased this belt. My first quick release belt ever. I didn't even know how to loop it through the removable piece (still don't know the lingo of these belts) anyway once I figured out my own technique of how to put it on I have not worn any other belt besides this one on any jeans or cargos. This belt does not fold like belts which sometimes come with cargo pants or shorts. It does not loosen up once it's in correct wearing position. "normal" belts are designed with holes for you to fit yourself into the belt, this is designed for the belt to fit you. Anything you plan to put on your belt do so before you tighten it to your fit. Every millimeter counts. Thisnis a "set it and forget it" kind of belt. Once you adjust everything, you won't ever have to readjust your pants throughout the day like you're checking your watch.

The best belt I ever bought for my outdoor trousers. Opens in a split second. since it is a firm stretch belt ( which does NOT SLIP ) on the buckles this belt is worth paying a little bit more money for.
